The paintings in the Becoming Collection were created at a time when I was learning to view life as an ever-unfolding journey.
Life itself is a process of creating, moving, hoping, and letting go. Rather than starting with the end goal in mind, what if we set pencil and paintbrush to page and just get started? What if we trust that our intuition will tell us where to place the next stroke of paint?
These paintings are the result of approaching creative work with curiosity. They provide an opportunity to celebrate the joy and beauty of this moment, enthusiastic for all the things we might become.
